Adding Potassium?

I am going to add 28g of potassium chloride to bring my level from 360 ppm to 400 ppm in a total volume reef tank of 100 gallons.
How many grams can I safely add per day?

I’d add that over 2-3 days, but that is mostly just a guess of a time to allow organisms some time to adjust.

I have a similar question, @Randy Holmes-Farley . Is this better than an off-the-shelf product, such as Kalium Potassium from AquaForest or Potassium from ZEOvit?

If it is a high quality material (e.g., food grade, pharmaceutical grade, etc),. nothing else is better.
