Adding Pulsing Xenia

Hello,

My reef tank has been established for about 15 months. Have multiple corals that are happy. Last weekend I added a green mushroom, some zoas, and a pulsing Xenia. All are happy except the pulsing Xenia. He was good for a day or two and now has shriveled up and looks awful. I've heard sometimes people have trouble keeping Xenia and other people have trouble with it spreading too much. Any tips? What gives? Pic attached
