My tank has been up for close to a year now and was thinking of adding mor rock to the system I started with all live rock if I were to add dry rock to the system would it start off a mini cycle in my tank or should I just add more live rock what would be the best option . Thanks got the input

Cure the rock in a 5 gallon bucket or small brute trashcan for 6 to 8 weeks and you should be fine. Need a powerhead, or similar, for movement. You'll have to change the water every two weeks.

If your adding a good amount I agree with bighildy... If its just one piece you should be fine.

TBS live rock just watch out for some unwanted critters but plenty of life on the rocks def. for real live rock. That is if you have the funds to spend.
