Adding rock!!!!

I wanna add new rock to my existing rock… how do I accomplish this? Can I take out the rock in my tank to attach it to the new rock then put back in? Please provide me with proper steps thank you!

I usually cycle the new rock in the sump for a few weeks then just glue it in place in the tank. If you have to pull the rock out for an hour or so (assuming no coral) you’re not going to hurt anything though.

Don’t have a sump, thinking I will pull a few peices I have in the tank and put them in a bucket with the new for a while.

You can just use some old tank water on the next water change.
