Adding sand with my crush coral

I Added 3 cups of sand to my cc and didn't see any nitrates when I tested the water. Do you think I can add some more or should I wait? I did it three days ago. I rinse the sand in rodi water.

Did you test for ammonia? That does come first, than nitrites than you get nitrates

Yes I did they were all zero

You should be ok
