My tank is bb, should I add live sand or dry sand and rinse? Pros and cons? I don't want any levels to spike I have a lot of fish in the tank and don't want to loose any, I'm going to use pvc to add the sand but if I use dry sand can I add one bag all at once? Live sand maybe a cup or 2 a week?

So you have a tank already up and running that you are trying to add to correct? You can use either sand you like. You won't have a spike, because it's new sand, you can add it all if you want but it will make your water super cloudy. You can add little by little or you can (i would prefer dry sand at the point your at) and wash small amounts of it at a time and add it. When you wash it make sure it has little to no kick up and add to your tank. Hope this helps! But to answer your question, use dry sand and wash it good then add.

I would go against live sand being it cost more if your tank is already cycled. Just wasting money at that point in my opinion.

And your not really supposed to wash the live sand either. That's another downfall cause it clouds a tank up for days haha
