Adding strontium in reef tank ?

Today was my first day to ever add strontium in my aquarium, is there any benefits to adding it ?

Scrodium is the ionic form of a small cod (scrod). Good for dosing if you want to add dead fish to the tank.

I personally think strontium dosing is of no benefit. Some may disagree.

RedSea Calcium supplement contains strontium. Not sure if it's really helpful or not.
