I am currently running the Photon V1 LED light on my 4 foot, 75 gallon mixed reef. Things have been doing great and i have been growing acros just fine. However, I was thinking of adding one T5 bulb to supplement the LEDs in hopes for a little better growth out of my SPS. If you were adding one T5 bulb, what color would you choose and how many hours a day should I keep it on?

Blue plus, 8 hours

That's what I was thinking. Since my tank has never had T5 over it before, should I start with like 4 hours a day and ramp up to 8 hours over time? Or is one bulb not going to matter?

With one bulb you are probably ok. When I added 4 bulbs to my kessils, I started at 1/2 hour per day and worked my way up. Your 4 hr plan sounds good to me.

I added a row of GE 6500k T5 to my 4 48” Photon V2+

Hey I have the photon V2 and added a single T5 to both sides of the fixture. I used blue plus in both and like the added light. It's a great combo. I have mine running for six hours during peak LED time. I acclimated one fixture at a time at the full 6 hours as my tank is deep, 24"

Yeah I was gonna say it seems like a good idea. I have zero experience with coral. But every big ****** tank I have seen when I watch online tutorials has both.
