Adding Zoas To Rock

Hello R2R,
What methods do you use to add your Zoanthids to its permanent spot on the rock work? I just cut the plug and glued the disc to the rock. It looks terrible this way (IMHO). How say you? Thanks!

I also trim the plug and glue it to the rock. I trim as much of the plug off as I can. If all goes according to plan, they will spread over the plug and rock hiding it from sight.

Good question! I was wondering this myself. I'm new to the hobby and got my 1st zoas about a week ago. Also, what tools did you use to trimthe plugs? And I'm assuming you did this while underwater in the tank?
