Hi Guys,

I got my 55 gallon tank up and running, FOWLR for now, but looking to eventually get some corals.
I'm looking for suggestions on what other fish to put in my tank, right now i got 5 fish, 2 shrimps:

- 1 yellowtail damsel
- 2 clownfish
- 1 purple firefish
- 1 royal gamma
- 1 yellow watchmen goby
- 1 pistol shrimp
- 1 cleaner shrimp

i also got 2 hermit crabs and some snails (2 turbo, 3 trochus snails)

i think i want to get a yellow midas blenny...i previously wanted to get some bangai cardinals and/or some green chromis...but not sure if they would go well (visually) with my existing stock....was hoping you guys might have some suggestions that i haven't thought of. I'm definitely looking from some peaceful 'reef safe' fish...thanks

Welcome to the hobby,

It sounds as if this tank has been recently set up. How old is it? If its less than a few months old I would suggest to slow down and wait allow your tank to completely settle. I'm referring to good water chemistry and good algae growth. (Coralline) before you add anymore fish. Once the water chemistry is in check and is stable then and only then i would start adding corals slowly. In this hobby being slow and letting your aquarium do its thing is so much better on your tank inhabitants and on your mind.

Keeps things fun : ) Add items too fast things are not so fun: (
