Hi there,

I'm looking to add some extra blue lights to my stock Fluval Evo setup.

Not looking at expensive lights at the moment as am planning a larger setup in the future.

The stock light is capable as so I've read, though there is just too much white light and not enough blue. Not the most attractive.

I would also prefer to add a blue light that would have the greatest impact on coral frags as possible, within the scope of what I'm looking for.

Based in the UK and found this so far
Which someone apparent tested and left a review. (below)

Would this be the best purchase or can someone recommend an alternative?

I would just get something that will transfer to your next build. That way you only spend once

Planning to get a ecotech radion which would be overkill for this tank and I’m not ready to make that purchase yet.

Maybe these? Will work in New tank also

Just get some actinics and be done with it. Make sure its fairly waterproof as the humidity and splashing will find its way inside.
Once you need a new light (3ish years) then go for a AI Prime or Kessil.

2 of The 15inch fit in the lid in place of the original light, or you can use all 3......

I’m no expert but just switched my fluval 13.5G biota kit stock light to the Redsea led50 and have loved it so far but still looking for best setting advice :) my tank seems to like it though!

Nice. What are you doing for a lid? Screen top?
