K-2 Viper Lamps

Opinion on the 150 watt metal halide jbj viper. I am having a tough time choosing and I appreciate everyones help
My concern with MH is how do you get the same blue colors? Let me try and explain I may sound like I do not know anything because I do not. On my current LED fixture I have 10k white and around 450 royal blue. So when I have both on is that giving me 14-16k because they blend. And with MH in order for me to have all blue, blue and white or just white I have to have a different bulb for each. Which one is going to give me better color, growth on coral and shimmer. Again Thank You

you can also add t5 or a led stripe. I love MH, but I really hate the heat..

I think mh in a 9g migjt b to much. But for color just get a 20k bulb no need actinics ull get great color and growth

20K MH bulbs for the Blue. It is the question MH VS. LED... The ultimate in my opnion is MH/T5 and LED's which are on for the veiwing hours. Some do say LED all the way with the Controll now available.

this is for a small 9g tank no room for combo i dont think lol. i would do t5 or LED for that tank man its gona get so hot when lights are on with a MH if you go with MH dont go over a 75w. 150w will bake ur tank lol

Maybe not if properly set up with a couple fans and put above the tank enough I don't see heat being a problem. I had my light<-- 150w halide and 2 18 watt t5 blues over a 10 gallon with 2 120mm computer fans the temp rose 1degree
