actually i have a single return pump going straight to DT. during the summer, i replace the pump with a bigger one and instead going to DT i connect a new hose going to the chiller and from the chiller to DT

All reactors, filter, UV and so on, uses a single standalone pump (one for each reactor)

i saw that some users add a second "return" pump in the return chamber that will Power the reactors. but these reactor, would drop to the skimmer chamber? (in other words, some water from the return chamber is put back to the skimmer chamber)

is this correct?

This seems like one of those trick questions that a chemistry professor would put on a quiz with the possible answers including;
"All of the above"
&
"None of the above."

In your case, if you asked the same question in slightly different ways in 2 or more threads you could start a rigorous debate on how the flow of water is BEST Managed in a sump. As long at the pumps don't run dry and the filters keep operating, and the heaters don't explode, and the corals and fish are happy ANYTHING goes the correct answer.

I didn't even talk about the pumps making noise or being silent, again some people are very particular on how they believe a system needs to operate to be deemed "Correct." HTH.
