So Ive been trying to figure out how to dose additives that has ( shake well instructions printed) through my bubble magus doser. I decided to put a bubbler in the bottle to suspend the additive so I will be able to dose. I would like to hear what you guys think about this. Pros & Cons

I think it's pretty ingenious of you 1smile1 "Shaken then gently bubbled NOT stirred"

Cheers, Todd

Could that cause problems with the doser taking in air from the bubbler, which could cause the doser to take up less additve than it needs to?

I didnt think about that but that is a good question. I think if the additives was low in the bottle, then it could be a problem. Im going to dose 30ml in a cup to see if i get air pockets in the tube.

I agree it's a bit of a conundrum. I'd be more concerned about it exposing the additive to too much oxygen and causing it to oxidize and go bad faster than it normally would. If it is something like 2 part, I don't see that happening, but aminos or something else like that, it most likely would. I'd probably be inclined to make a stir plate with a CPU fan to keep wverything in suspension (check homebrewing forums for some ideas).
