ADJ Power Strip mounting question

Hey all,
I have seen a lot of folks rocking this power bar for their reefs as a convenient way of turning off certain equipment at any given time:

I went ahead and bought one but I am wondering where I can safely mount it? I have seen them above the sump but that’s always a little spooky for me. I can also put it on the side of the stand but I would want it to be enclosed for fear of a nosey dog turning something off or something.

I always follow local electrical codes which in my case means at least 24" horizontally away from any water.
I wouldn't be mounting above an open sump due to potential splashes or jets of water if something came loose.

I bought a little cabinet that I’ll put next to my tank to house everything electrical. idk if that’s SUPER safe but then again, many folks swear by a pile of wires behind their tank.
