Adjust salinity

so if you need to make an adjustment because you are low in the DT where is the best place to add?

I put a tiny sprinkle in the DT but the fish thought it was food. I was surprised. Was kinda worried about them

Then tried the skimmer compartment but of course that makes the skimmer
Go nuts

Last place...... the pump compartment?

I add saltwater to my ATO reservoir and let evaporation take care of it. Just check salinity every day until its where I want it and then replace the saltwater with RODI. I wouldn't add it to the tank directly without mixing in water first since it can burn corals and isn't good for fish to eat.

I just make a super concentrated solution and pour it in my sump

add in ATO or use 1 gallon drip into your sump or DT.

When you do your weekly water changes make it .005 stronger than your current tank water. In a few weeks it will be higher.

This, you never want to add salt directly into your tank or not fully dissolved saltwater into your tank. Best way to increase salinity is to turn off your ATO and manually top off with saltwater mixed to the salinity you want until you reach your goal. Or you can do a series of small water changes with saltwater mixed to your desired salinity until you reach it in the tank
