RS Reefer XL425 Mixed Reef a little over 1 year old, weekly 10% water changes using Instant Ocean Reef Crystals. No current dosing. Use chaeto in sump. Below are my parameters:

Temp 77.4f
Sal 35.1
Nitrate 1ppm (Has been 0 for quite some time)
PO4 0.03ppm
pH 8.2
Ca 475ppm
Alk 7
Mg 1520mg

When my tank was young, my alk was consistently 8-9dkh. Now it is consistently 7 tested with Red Sea test kit. (I have a Hanna check on the way).

Question: Should I try to get the Alk up a bit? If so how, two part ESV, or Red Sea or? Or just leave it alone?

Tank inhabitants mostly healthy. Zoas don't do so great in this tank and Acros and Stonys do fair but pretty slow growth for over 1 years old tank I feel.

Thanks for tips and input!

to me your alk is a bit low (maybe accounts for the slow growth) and mag on the high side. also you dont mention P04.. I only use AF so i cant comment on what you should use and Imma only a noob. I aim for and am getting 8, 410,1350..
as for the dos i think you will be using it so i would keep it.

Thank you. Oops forgot, PO4 it has been a bit high at .03.

It has been as high as 0.4. Yes this is correct.
