Looking for some opinions here:
I have a 120g SPS tank it's lit by an ATI Hybrid 4 T5 fixture supplemented by 3 (soon 4) AI Hydra 26's. My Par is roughly 400 at the top of the tank, and my Hydras are heavily on the blue end of the spectrum (almost no white, purple or UV, and no red or green). I want to adjust to the BRS AB+ spectrum. My question is what's the best way to go about that adjustment and over what period of time?
Is the SPS sensitivity mainly to PAR, to the spectrum, or to both? If the former, I can go to AB+ all at once and adjust the acclimation % to match my current PAR so the overall PAR remains consistent before/after. But if it's the spectrum too, I assume i need to phase down the blue while ramping the UV, Violet, White, while also paying attention to overall PAR.
Suggestions?
