So I am working on adjusting some new lights on my tank. Tonight I decided to raise the intensity up a little. I raised the the intensity a little and I watched as my par increased as expected. The part that confuses me is that according to my eb832 the wattage of the outlet decreased. That's not possible is it?

Doesn't sound right.

That exactly what I thought. But I watched the par meter increase and the wattage decrease.
Did you increase the intensity equally across the different colors or did you decrease some colors?

It's that first drop where I increased the lights. Then there was a small increase in wattage where I added a little more to each channel, and that time the wattage went up.

I increased all channels, just not by the same amount, but still all channels increased.
Then from my understanding the resistance would decrease but the wattage draw would increase. I'm not an electrician though.
