i just got the ai sol in and am wondering what would be the best % to start off the sol at? the tank is 12 inches deep and i have the light about a foot and a half above the tank. the stuff i have is from my 5.5 with 3 mr16 bulbs and i just placed a large order. just looking for any advice and suggestions. thanks in advance

I started at 30% everything. Increase 15% per week. To be safe. A lot of people are getting pale color or white corals thinking its getting bleached but it's actually lack of light. I have mine at 50% white 75% blue 75% royal and my corals looks way better then I ever had with t5s. still increasing. My lights are 12" off the water in a sps dominated tank.

so far everything is doing fine as far as too much or too little light, but most came from led. plus the way i have it setup they are only at their max w50 b60 r40 for 5 hours. the tank is super shallow at 12 inches too

i started mine at 30%
then raised it 10% every week til i reached 63 white 70b 70rb. couldnt go higher than that in my 70 cube or my zoas would close on the bottom of the tank

i just bumped mine up 15 each. lets see how things do... my zoas have been opening up fine on the bottom. i have mine about a foot above the water
i also started mine much higher than what seems to be normal, w50 b60 r40. but like i mentioned earlier they are only this bright for a short period of the day
