I came home today and found this little critter in my tank. NO CHANGES for a few months now. Except water changes. Any ideas?

Asterina starfish. Generally harmless but can reproduce very quickly

It’s looks like an Star fish or some kind of urchin.

Yup, hitch hiked in on rock most likely you'll likely see a whole lot more in the comming months

I had a bunch of those guys pop up in my 150. I noticed some with a thin, black coloration on their back that tended to pester zoas. I cannot prove they ate the zoas, but I will say my population of smaller zoas plummeted while they were in my tank.

I have had them in my tank from the get go (came in on my live rock). They have never caused any problems and their population seems to vary with available food.
