I wanted to make a build thread for my second tank. Living in a small house has it's challenges and I already have my 83 gallon peninsula in the biggest open space I had available! I liked the look of the Innovative Marine tanks but hated the look of the all of components and cords sticking out of the AIO section on the back. It seemed that having a custom built glass nano was going to be a little pricey. I stumbled upon Advanced Acrylics on a Socal swap facebook page and noticed they had a "catalog" item for exactly what I was looking for. I drove over there since it was about 5 minutes from a powder coater we use at work and dropped off the deposit! About four weeks later I got photos! He built a stand to match my Crystal Dynamic build and am just waiting on a custom built sump that I am also very excited for. I am still contemplating how I want to configure the tank, but I am thinking a SPS tank with some fancy clowns and a clean up crew. Also possibly a mandarin. I am thinking of using all Ecotech components to work with their new cloud software. If I can shoehorn in a GHL system with the new Ion Director that is pretty tempting as well.
