So I want to place my chiller into my cabinet. The measurements allow ample space for my chiller. But my questions is this. Is it safe to place it into the cabinet and can I drill 4 to 6 3/4" holes into the left side of my stand to ventilate it? The reasoning behind this is to create an overall seamless look.

Please any advice will help. BTW Happy Friday!!!

Drilling the holes isn't gonna hurt anything... Especially being that small.. Only thing that concerns me is the heat that the chiller puts off might just make it work that much harder because your sump will warm up... Have you thought about maybe getting a little cabinet to place the chiller in next to the tank???

I built a small cabinet next to my display back when I used a chiller, its to the right of the display in this photo. I left the back of the cabinet open and installed two 120mm computer fans in the door with a louvered vent to draw cool air in and it exhausted out the back. Chillers get real hot and they are quite noisy.
