I'm in the process of upgrading from a 45 Cube to a 125. I've had an orange skunk clown for almost two years and I'd like to add a mate when I switch over to the bigger tank. What would be the best way to add the new fish in an attempt to get them to pair up? My guy is about 1.25 inches in size. Would adding a smaller skunk make them more likely to pair? Would it be better to have the new fish already in the tank or let my guy get situated in the new tank and then add a new fish?

Smaller and at same time. That said, I have had very good luck personally getting as small of a new specimen as possible (preferable one that was NOT dominant in the holding LFS tanks). this has worked for me multiple times.

Thanks for the replies. I sort of figured that smaller was the way to go but it's nice to hear other opinions.
