Advice for lighting a 32x24x24 SPS tank.

Did you ever measure the actual wattage you are using?

Used leds (used in general) don't have that high of a resale value.

Get mh's if you like the way they look. Hobbies generally NEVER "save" money..

In 5 years can one REALLY predict the cost of.................anything.

I think 2 90w or 120w units would work. check out these new lights from chihiros aquatics, intro price is half off and these look to be new competitors to the ecotech Radion https://www.chihirosaquaticstudio.com/collections/newchihiros-nova-1

No doubt these reefbreeders grow some serious coral. I’d have no issue using them on future builds or adding another one to my tank. I’ve been throwing around the idea of running a halide over it but I think I’ll end up getting another photon. Cool thing is that whenever I get around to my 180 build I can use the two reefbreeders as a good starting point. They really are a great light source. I’m finding that it’s not so much of a t5,led, or halide is best thing but rather our application of them.
