Got a long tentacle nem a few weeks ago and put him in a small crevice in the upper part of rock work. Popped himself out of there and has been rolling around on the bottom for the last two days. He’s kind of wedged up against a rock but the tentacles look healthy and are open. Should I try and make a spot for him or just let him do his thing? Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Do some research on LTA's. They are not rock dwelling and your sandbed doesnt look deep enough.

Hey:) at least 4 inches of substrate for baby LTs and 7inches for larger sized :) here’s a pic of my medium purple, it’s foot is attached to the bottom of the tank through the sand. I usually just bury them close to the bottom of the tank in a spot and it normally does the trick with helping the Nem settle :) you can see him all the way on the bottom right corner close to the glass :)
