Advice for my 5 gallon Nano tank

Ive recently set up a custom 5 gallon Nano tank it has a rio 1100 pump and it's pushing out about 350 gph but I have a ball valve adjusting the flow and for filtration I have a 3 stage system the first is fine foam the second Is carbon and the third is bio media I bought the water from a local fish store and it has about 2 pounds of live rock and 1 pound of dry rock can you tell me if I'm doing everything right?

Welcome to R2R. Just take your time and as hard as it is, don't be in a hurry to put life in it just yet. While the tank is cycling, just keep reading and researching. Below is a good thread to read through.

welcome! when I started in 6th grade with a 3gallon I only had enough money for 1 trocus snail. It was fascinating to watch it crawl around. I suggest you start with an invertebrate
