Advice for shipped almost dead mushrooms

Maybe it’s rude.
but it’s a stupid suggestion and one that nobody would actually do.
At this point then who would be responsible for that overnight shipping back to the seller?
Who’s responsible of it dies in transit this time?

Your other comments seemed well thought out. Not this one.

if I sold someone a $650 coral, then replaced before the other had died, yes I would spend the extra $30 to get them to ship it back.

not sure about OZ but it’s WAY more than that to ship overnight here in the states.

And then again, my same question:
Which party is responsible for that extra shipping cost?
Who’s responsible if something happens?

your literally just doubling the chances of the exact same issue happening again and making the situation even worse

Also it’s $250 not $650 kind of a big difference

it was 2 corals totalling $650, I would pay, if they died I have lost the shipping, if they don’t I can resell.
So then it’s on the seller to pay the second shipping cost?
Is it the buyers fault if they fail to package it properly for the return trip and it dies? What if theydecide they don’t want to do that extra work just because you as the seller don’t want to loose out on your Extra coral?
Are they now required to do that for you?
That’s all Pretty ridiculous to expect from someone else IMO.

Personally in this situation, I find the offer of refunding $200 (out of $250) if it dies is very fair as the $50 that’s not refunded is likely the shipping cost.

In all honesty, and the reality of the situation is that that’s actually your only recourse to try and work with the vendor as the way you paid offers no protection or way or refunding. So either try working with them Or call it a loss and live and learn

I’ve made my point, you agreed you were rude and now keep arguing when I have clearly explained my reasoning.
I find the hospitality banner a laugh, you are clearly anything but.
Find someone else to argue with.
