Hi all

Any advice on fraggin my toadstool please.

I have just done a rescape of my tank so its showing signs of stress still 2 days later. First question is, should i let it recover from the stress?

Second question is i intend on fragging it to a plug, whats best to use super glue or rubber band? Iv frag with super glue before but not toadstools.

Thanks in advance!

I would let it rest/recover prior to fragging. I use the toothpick method, no glue at all. Toothpick at base of new frag then use a rubber band to secure the toothpicks to the frag plug or rock. Works great. Once it "heals" and attaches to the plug/rock, simply remove rubber bands and tooth picks. It has normally taken a week or two to take hold.

My $.02 anyway.

I've seen videos of using an acclimation box with rock rubble and just placing the frags on top of that. They will attach on their own and then glue that to the plug.
