That last pic, does not look good. You can see bare skeleton where the flesh has peeled back. The tentacles are also fat, shrunken, and odd shaped.

This almost looks like ECS(elegance coral syndrome).

How long have you had this coral, and do you know if it's indo or aussie?

Hanna ULR Phosphorus checker is best for measuring phosphate levels. Other tests are just not that sensitive....we talking about 10-30 parts per billion.....

Elegance corals sometimes just recede and die for unknown reasons.

The large one I've had for many years and was about the size of a ping pong ball when I got it. The smaller one is only 3 years old, and my wrasses sleep next to it so it gets pushed out of the sand quite often.

I’ve had it for probably 6 ish months and I’m not sure if it’s a info or Aussie I’ll try to find my records.
what should I do if it is ECS?

There is a thread around here about dipping in RO/DI I believe....Don't quote me on it. Just search for ECS, should be able to find the thread.

I never had one recover from ECS, so I gave up on them years ago(many indo imports had ECS back then). Got a hold of an aussie one, and it's been great for years now.
