Advice needed to find overflow box

I may have found someone to drill my 180g. If so, I will need 2- 1/2 round or rectangular boxes about 23" tall and with about 12" or more skim area each. Does anyone know where one might find these full length OF boxes? Or will I have to make them?

I'm going to contact him just as soon as I get the holes drilled. I want to be certain of the distance from the back wall before and if have him do them. I am working on a super tight budget with much to accomplish in the next 2 months (my daughters HS graduation comes first). I will be building a stand, canopy, getting 2 more ATI t5s w/ Tek2 reflectors and a ballast, a new return pump - DC12000, plus sump work. I may have Jason make my sump baffles too come to think of it Good thing I got the 180g for a great price, this is getting real expensive!

My 240 started leaking suddenly and I decided to just replace it.
I started with a budget in mind and unfortunately have blown it up.

I went with glass-holes. Love it. Came with everything I needed. No need to silicone anything and you don't loose all that space you would with a big overflow box.

The holes need to be in the bottom of the tank due to space and looks. This tank will be set up as a peninsula, so all the piping will be easily seen if it is coming out of the back glass panel.

Lol If I had my way I would turn the whole thing into a wall but hubby says no It would be easier to hide everything as well as light spilling from the canopy.

My 240 started leaking suddenly and I decided to just replace it.
I started with a budget in mind and unfortunately have blown it up.

Hahaha! Me too! I was going to reuse my pumps and use the 125g for the sump. All I would have needed would be the extra lighting. But the new tank is drilled in a weird way and no where near where I need the holes . Then I thought about the 125g and how long the transfer process would take while it became a sump. Didn't want to risk my corals so that was out. My current sump is too small so I got a 55g at petcos $1 per g sale. 1 pump is getting untrustworthy so now I need a new pump. I am fast getting on Glenns "S" list! Lol I only paid $150 for the tank but the cost of getting it the way I want it plus efficiency is climbing... what's a reefer to do?

Nope, it's glass. It is because of where the tank is going between 2 open rooms that it will be noticable. Maybe a little less than with the 125g that's there now because the 180g is wider but I'm so nit-picky lol.

If I had more room to push the tank a little further away from the wall I would add a false cabinet behind it, but I don't. I would really love to turn my 3 bdrm house into a 2 bdrm if you get my meaning My husband says no way to that too

Im almost certain that bottom glass panel is tempered. Therefor CANNOT be drilled. Many people have tried, ALL have failed.:yield:

I think everything above a 30 Gallon tank has a tempered bottom. Think you are going to have to go with one of the side panels being drilled.

I have been wrong before though.

I was very concerned as well but check out the screenshot of their response to me

Look at the hole placement and they are only 1 1/2" each.
