Hello all. I've been running my 120G on 3 Ocean Revive Arctic T247s for a little bit less than a year. Haven't seen much growth on any coral, I have some sps, lps, zoas. I've read that most corals do better under some T5s. So I'm trying to see if you recommend any specific light, my tank is 6 feet long so I don't know if they make T5s that big? Or will I need multiple fixtures? I don't want to get rid of my current LEDs, I want to do an LED/T5 combo. I'm also looking for some low profile T5s due to limit on space on my tank area. Looking forward to any advice and comments. Thanks for the help in advance.

Would be best to get a retro fit set on T5 fixture.
A couple of examples
This one has the two T5's close together.

Best T5's are ati coral + and blue +
But the ATI are a whole set of lights, I would have to remove my current lights correct? I think the better option for me would be the retro kits. I see the biggest they have are 60" inch. Would one kit be sufficient to cover the whole length of my tank? My tank is 72"L x 19"W x 23"H.

I would run two 60" t5's, like reefwiser mentioned above. Just get a couple nice ati or geissmann bulb's and run them with your daylight led's. You can run them on the outside of your led's if you have the room, but two t5's would add quite a bit of spectrum and light, also will help with any shadowing. Main thing when looking at t5's is good reflectors and quality bulb's.

I would put them in front of your LED's 60" is the longest they make so they would have to work. If you put a set behind your Leds they could be on the opposite end on the take.

So if I purchase 1 set of T5s, normally they have 2 bulbs right? White and blue or both white or both blue? So to have one set infront of my LEDs and one in the back I would have to buy 2 sets right? Sorry for such a dumb question but I don't know anything about those lights.

my tank is 72 x 24 x 23 and I run 3 led fixtures and 2 aruba sun retro t5"s. Pick the bulbs based on your color preference. I run 2 blue +, 1 coral +, 1 purple +

Are those LEDs the Corona by rapid?

I'm getting my two bulb t5 retro 60" set from bulk reef Thursday to suppliment my reef breeders photon 60.
Tank is 72 " as well. I can't wait. I say go for it.
Also I'm doing coral +and blue + ati.

Can someone post a pic of their tank with both lights on? Or a pic of how it normally looks please?

What is the wattage on your T5s?

I almost got this kit, just didn't have the time to wire it up. If you have time this is cheaper and does the same thing.
I'm considering this kit mainly because I have limited space. I would only get one kit and put one bulb on each side. So what two bulbs would you recommend if I go this way?
