Hi all, I recently added a Geo 612 calcium reactor to my system. I was previously dosing ATI essentials Pro but it was getting to be a hassle as the consumption was increasing significantly.

I pegged my reactor's pH at 6.5 and it essential fluctuates from 6.49 to 6.51 I'm using reborn and about 10% Remag.

The effluent dKH has measured at 31dKH and I'm using the Carbon Doser to bubble CO2 at about 15 bubbles per minute at a pressure of 12. I'm also using the Kamoer dosing pump and I'm running at about 10cc per minute which basically drips at about 1-2 drops per second.
My Alkalinity has been pretty stable with this setting for about a week.

So my question- should I leave it as is? Is 10cc per minute to slow and lead to a clog at some point? I'm not sure if I should change the reactor pH to a higher setting and thereby increase the flow to a slow stream rather than the current drip rate.
Advice would be greatly appreciated.

If you are maintaining target levels then I see no reason to fiddle with it. Are you running the peri pump as push or pull? Latter may help to alleviate clogs. 6.5 seems a bit low for reborn. I run mine closer to 7.0. Just keep an eye out for overly melting media.

Thanks! I'm running pull and thus far no issues. The effluent is crystal clear.
