Advice on dealing with alk overdosing?

Hi reefers,

I made a stupid mistake and overdosed Alk. Can you review the steps I am about to take and let me know if there is anything I could to better or different?

What's happened:
- A week ago, I Dosed 350ml of Alk (Randy's #2) over the course of 2 days, in a 200L tank, which used to consume 35ml/day.
- Alk is currently at 14dkh or more.
- I also dose Vinegar, Aminos, Ca and mG.
- Tnak used to run on Alk at 7.6dKh.

What I have done so far:
- Stopped Alk, Ca, Mg and Vinegar dosing.
- Doubled amino acids dosing hoping to cope with the acellerated growth.
- 10% water change (life isn't giving me time to do more)

What I will be doing next:
- 20% water changes daily, starting tomorrow.
- Monitor No3 and burnt acro tips on a daily basis and ramp up Vinegar accordingly.


Can you spot anything I could do differently?

Interesting enough, coral coloration has improved a bit, all my acros started showing noticeable growth and only one has started RTNing. I will frags this one hoping to save it.

I'd continue calcium and magnesium dosing, and once alk is back in line, check to see if you need a manual boost of extra calcium to get back to your normal values.

I'd also get an exact measure of the alkalinity so you can track it. Use a second syringe of titrant, if necessary.

What size tank is this? We can calculate ow high the alk got.

I've already done about 35% water changes and Alk dropped to 10.1, so I guess it didn't go much higher than 14dKH.
Ca also dropped quickly and I indeed shouldn't have paused it. It is at 390ppm and I am about to adjust it.
Looks like ca consumption spiked with the extra Alk or else it precipitated.
