Thinking I need to start dosing
90gal mixed reef,55gal sump/refugim
20% water change every 2 weeks, have used brightwell calcion fo two years.starting to get expensive. Any thoughts on brs 2 part .or something else?

I got rid of both of those as well, because I have over 300 gallons now to dose. I've been using a calcium hydroxide drip, aka kalkwasser. Its doing better than using the brightwells. I've noticed more coral growth at tips and a more stable ph. Also, coraline is going mad. I have it on a drip per second.

Depending on your demand you might be able to just dose kalkwasser. If you have a lot of SPS and LPS that are going to demand cal and alk stability you can use kalk or 2 part. I actually use both from BRS and really like their product.

I agree that the BRS 2-Part is the way to go. And luckily for you I bought 5 gallon buckets of the stuff on a group buy to save our club some money when needing some. PM me if you are interested in getting some. It will need to be by Saturday night though as I'm going out of town for a few weeks.
