Advice on getting rid of Copper

Hi everyone,

a triton result on my tank showed that Cooper is present and I believe it is due to moving to an house with cooper pipes in combination with an old RODI, which I will sort soon.

Questions:
- Is 2.37ug/L harmfull ?
- What is the best way to get rid of it?

Id use seachem cuprisorb

IMO, that level is not a big problem. My tank had levels above that for a long time and seemed fine.

That said, metasorb, cuprisorb, Triton's detox, or a Polyfilter are good ways to remove copper.

Skimming (or skimming more) and GAC (or more GAC) may also help since the copper is likely bound to organics so any organic export method may help.

If you notice the warning lamp scale is still in the green. The Al however is not. If that matters or not I do not know.

+1 to cuprisorb. I run a bag 24x7 in my tank just in case. Never know when you might put a rock in that has a ton in it or feed a new food that has elevated levels... Better safe than sorry.
