Hello. I am fairly new to the hobby and started out with a 29 gallon biocube. I have absolutely fell in love with it and am now thinking of going to a much larger tank, and was hoping to get some feedback from some experienced folks.

I am thinking of 90 gallons minimum possibly up to 180 gallons. I have a fairly large area to work with, so either style or size
would fit where I plan on displaying the tank.

I am looking to get a predrilled tank. I really love the look of the square tanks (like the 93 gallon tank from marineland), and was wondering if anyone could fill me in on the pros and cons of the square versus the rectangle?

I am not a big fan of the "hood" on the rectangle tanks, but was curious to know if anyone recommends that for lighting purposes. Does the hood give you more lighting options over the square tanks with no hood? I want to be able to adjust if necessary, and am not totally against the hooded tank.

I am also curios to know what brand tank you would recommend and why. As well as any recommendations as to where to purchase a tank of that size. ( is there a place that displays the tanks they sell)

I know i will have alot more questions as I go, but this will help me make a more informed decision. My plan is to take my time with this and put together the best set up I can afford.

Thank you for your time!!!!

I just got a DSA 100 Pro - Love it -full canopy on it. One thing I fond though is under the canopy is a support so it limited on lighting unless I cut it. I did find Acan LED's (600 series) I am running two 18's under it. I was able to use them because they are low profile. DSA makes a rimless that is beautiful - but I wanted the canopy as it is in the living room and I wanted the "furniture" look.
