So I got a long tentacle anemone, and it seems to be doing fine; it's settled into the sand, but one half has deflated while the other half is full and and fat? Do I have a problem on my hands or is this normal?

You will want to place into a hole or large crevice in a rock for its foot to have something to grab on to. Otherwise it could float around and get shredded in a powerhead.

Assuming it really is a LTA, then if it has footed down into the sand bed that's fine as those anemones will settle in the sand or at the base of rocks. How long has it been it half deflated and half fully inflated?

It has now completely deflated, in a ring around the LTA, but the flesh closest to the mouth is really puffy with long standing up tentacle
