Thank you in advance on any helpful advice fellow reefers can give me on moving my established acropora dominant 130.4 waterbox reef aquarium with fish etc. I will be moving in alittle less than 4 weeks about 500 miles. I also have a 25 gallon innovative marine aio frag tank. Ty

Ugh I’ve moved tanks across the room and in town several times. The last time I moved 300 miles I sold my tank. i really regret doing that.

is it possible to make a trip befpre tank to set up a holding tank?

are you driving?

if I was forced to move a tank that far I would work with a LFS to hold my fish / coral and ship them to me. I’d take The tank / rock / and equipment and give myself plenty of unrushed time to set up.

It's a one time shot. Yes we are driving

The closest lfs store is the corner reef which is 100 miles from me

I'm doing the same pretty soon. I'm looking at buying an inverter for my car then I'm going to put livestock in brute trash cans with pumps and heaters. I'll be curious what others say!
