Ok so I have a 65gal tank 3’x23”deep. It’s not drilled wish I did that before hand. But the tank has been set up for about a year now and I’m pretty sure I can’t drill it now stupid question lol. I have this stupid overflow box on the back and was wondering if there was anyway I could place it on the side so atleast I can have more room towards the wall or maybe something to disguise the sides. I wish there was a way to get rid of the overflow box completely but I don’t think there’s anyway of that either. Any help?

Aside from your thoughts (and I don't like HOB overflows but some have no problems with them), sure you could run it on the side, but I'm a fan of drilled tanks.
Safely move your tank by removing all the water so you don't stress it during the shift closer to the wall.
You can buy black corrugated plastic if that will suffice to hide the looks but doubt it'll make you happy
