Okay, so I would like to get the advice of some more seasoned mixed readers on where I should place these corals in my tank. For instance put the acro over by the monti cap and the chalice on the limb under the branching psammacora. Just trying to figure out a good safe layout since on of my acclimating chalices got pushed to close to my hydnopora and digested half of it. Lol photos attached.

Place the favias far away from other corals, including themselves. Keep this same principle for the euphys, most of the zoas I like to put 1/2" or so apart in a similar area. If all sps are doing good leave them up there, the others don't need that light, if some do better in other areas considering grouping the sps to an extent. Let the sps sit sideways on the edge of the upper rocks and they will grow faster, if they are already light acclimated.
If you think about an sps pointing directly to the lights, only the facing polyps recieve growth, but one sideways receives growth over the entire side facing up, if that makes sense.

How would you spread my chalices In this particular setup. I originally got the chalices under the impression they would be okay closer together quickly realized i was mistaken lol

I keep very few chalices and often throw them in my smaller tanks, I find places in the lower area after placing other corals, and many end up in the other tanks. They aren't as bad as favias, but do some damage either way. Frag racks are ugly, but can give you some extra space if needed. I suggest placing everything else first, and then finding spots that work for the chalice.

Okay will do.
