hey guys/girls
I have a 180 gallon saltwater w 40gal sump. I am looking to get a new pump and am quite conflicted on which one to get. I need approx 800 to 1000gph submersible. Would love to have recommendations for models that are supposed to be quieter than the norm.

Opinions are mixed on them but they aren't pricey by any means. The Jebao DC line seem to do okay for the money. I have the 8000T model in my 90 gallon with a 29 gallon sump and it's barely audible.

Mag 9 is good for the price.

The Reef Octopus VarioS pumps are dead silent. I've got two of them right now.

Thank you all for the info
My current one is a no name brand that came with the tank and has been running for 4yrs. It just a matter of time it will burn out. Local fish store all seemed to push the high end models which I dont see alot of high ratings for.
