I have a 29gal. BioCube. I have stock lights in there that are

36w 10k Daylight
36w Actinic 03 Blue

What lights should I upgrade to in order to give my corals a better quality of life? My tank seems really happy at the moment. However, I keep reading that everyone recommends upgrading to LED or HID. What is better and is there a pre-fab kit out there for my tank that I have not been able to find yet?

Thank you

If you're keeping the stock canopy, I'd go LED. 150w MH get pretty hot, especially cramped in an AIO canopy without a lot of fans blowing full blast. LEDs get warm too, but no where near as hot, and with some ventilation won't heat your water like a MH would.

If you are not into DIY projects some places sell pretty easy to install kits made just for the BioCube to fit the stock screw holes in the canopy. The sponsors here will probably chime in and help you out pretty quick, they're definitely really helpful here. I'm pretty sure there's a tutorial on here about swapping out the stock PCs for an LED kit as well. If the sponsors here don't make a pre-fab kit RapidLED does, but requires a bit more work on your part.
