My 12 inch 300w heaters dont fit well in my sump the minimum water level is out of the water about half an inch. Where can I find a heater good enough but still small enough to fit?

What is the minimum depth of your sump? Cobalt neotherms are great heaters and fairly small. Just a bit on the more expensive side. Finnex titanium heaters are also a decent option and tend to be shorter than the glass ones.

It is probably 10 inches deep and 12 inches wide

I think 300W titanium or cobalt are just under 11" so they still be a bit tall. looks like you'd have to mount them sideways or go with 3 200W heaters instead of 2 300s
