It's been several years since I've had a saltwater tank and I'm finally getting back into it. I just bought a red sea reefer 350 off of someone. It came with the tank, stand, sump, ATO tank, two radion Gen 3 pros, 2 RMS mounts, a reeflink, a Kessil h80 fuge light, and octopus regal 150sss with varios pump.

Am I missing anything? I'm not entirely sure how to plumb the tank so if you guys have advice on that or know where I can find the manual lol I'd appreciate any help. Like I said it's a while since I had a reef tank and I know equipment has changed alot since I've been in the hobby. Thanks for any advice guys.

Time to hit up YouTube! BRS, among many others, has a ton of great How-To videos.

Does the ATO tank include a pump and tubing or is it just a reservoir?

I just got the same tank up and running about a month ago, if you can I would get an Apex with an ATK system it is way better than the stock one. Also when putting the sump in leave a gap on the intake side of the sump when you put the sump in the stand you will either have a gap on the skimmer side or the return side but make sure to push it over so you have the gap on the return side this will come in handy later when you need to install dosing tube holders or probe holders (I learned this the hard way). Also I don't see wave pumps on your list, you will need those I went with 2 of the reefwaves 25s and they work great. Over all I love this tank and it is great. Good luck with your keep posting updates and feel free to reach out.

Thanks for the advice. Would you mind posting photos of your setup/sump area. Just want to make sure I'm understanding you correctly with what you're saying about the sump area.

Heater controller (inkbird is cheap and work well) and I would also ask the person how long they ran the radion gen 3 lights, if those were used for 5-10 years straight it may be time to chuck em, not sure

Buy the largest dc return pump that fits in the section and run it at a lower rpm and it will sound so much more quiet than an ac or dc running full spin

He's only had the tank for 18 months before he upgraded to a 300 gal

I like the cheaper maxpsect jump gyre (all these gyres are super similar but i do think the maxspect xf are the nicest, also the most expensive) again larger with 2, 4k jump gyres and run them at a lower speed to lower the amount of sound coming from the tank
