I found this for sale. Seems too good to be true. It was only used for a month. I'm looking to get a small tank up and going before moving into the house to set up something bigger.

Thoughts? I inquired about going by tomorrow - It seems a great deal to get started.

$80

Includes 15g tank
Seachem Tidal 55 filter
Coralife 2 bulb T5 HO light fixture with ATI bulbs.

Tank dimensions 24 long 13 wide 12 1/2 tall.

Thanks for any input in advance.

I’m not familiar with the lighting but the tank and filter seem like they’d be ~ $50 - $60 brand new. It is basically the setup I’m using for my softy frag tank except I’m using a pair of par 38s ($40 a piece).8
It would be a great starter tank of not scratched, easy to move or prep inhabitants for a larger tank in the future!

Hi there
I have 3 wave makers 2 reef circulators 2500 and 1 Reef Tide compact. Where would be the best place to put them for optimum results.

Used aquariums and related equipment are notoriously hard to sell so even though it seems like a bargain the price is probably about average of what you could expect to find on similar used equipment.. that being said I think $80 for that set up is a good deal and most likely the owner will take less if you make them a offer. I recently had been watching a Red Sea Reefer listed in a local want add that was in immaculate condition, packed full of corals and came with probably $1000 worth of extras, the owner was asking only $500 for everything and it took him over 2 months to sell it if he actually ever did or he may have just pulled the add.
