So I’m new to this saltwater hobby. I did freshwater n to check my water my go to was api kit now I’m in saltwater someone told me Red Sea is the better reliable. My question is which one ppl would preferred if they had the money to spend?

Frustratingly, different brands seem to be preferred for different paramaters. For instance, Hannah is extraordinarily popular for alkalinity, but very few use it for calcium.

BRS just did a "best in show" video series on test kits. IMHO it was very well done.
I mean, if money was NO object... would probably look into the fully automated ones.
The highest priced ones aren't always the best though... sometimes they're near the bottom of the barrel.

If looking to spend a little extra for better results, I'd suggest a primary and a backup kit for your most critical parameters. If you see a big swing, you can immediately confirm or disprove and, if needed, act to remedy... instead of waiting a few days for fedex for another test kit.
