I started measuring my Alk daily on 1/27/15. I have a 120 gallon tank with 10 gal. refugium an probably about 5-10 gallons in sump. Tank is mixed reef that I have had set up for about 6 years. I am using SeaChem Alkaliity test to try to bring my Alk up. I am using SeaChem Marine Buffer an Reef Fusion 1 and 2 to bring up alkalinity. Here are my daily testing results and actions (testing at 6:00 a.m. every day add chemicals after testing):

1/27 Water Change 20 gallons with ReefCrystals
1/27 KH 2.4 mEq/L added 20 mL of Reef Fusion Part 1 and Part 2
1/28 KH 2.4 mEq/L Added 20 mL of Reef Fusion 1 and 2
1/29 KH 2.6 mEq/L Added 25 mL o Reef Fusion 1 and 2
1/30 KH 2.9 mEq/L Added 25 mL of Reef Fusion 1 and 2
1/31 KH 2.9 mEq/L Added 25 mL of Reef Fusio 1 and 2
2/1 KH 3.1 mEq/L Also Tested Borate Alk at 1 mEq/L Directions in test say to maintain Borate at 1.5 to 2 mEq/L and to dose with their Marine buffer if Borate Alk is low so I added 6 tsp of Marine buffer to about 2 cups of freshwater and added to the sump. I also tested calcium with SeaChem Calcium test before adding anything that day and it read 450 ppm
2/2 KH 3.4 mEq/L Added 6 tsp Marine Buffer
2/3 pH reading was 8.0 KH 4.0 mEq/L added4 tsp Marine Buffer
2/4 KH 3.9 mEq/L Added 6 tsp marine buffer
2/5 pH was 8.1 KH 4.0 mEq/L added 6 tsp buffer
2/6 KH 3.9 mEq/L Borte alkalinity 1.5 mEq/L pH 8.1

Other notes: Had watr tested with Triton in November and no major abnormalities were reported.
I would like advise on how others would proceed.

First, stop using Marine Buffer. It is not a suitable product for a reef tank since it has too much borate. Use a different Seachem buffer if you wish, or just baking soda.
How high are you trying to push the alkalinity?

Sticking with just the reef fusion looks fine. 2.5-4 meq/l is an appropriate target range for alkalinity for most mixed tanks.
