I am setting up a 125 gallon saltwater aggrieve fish only tank. I am going to run 2 Eheim 2217 canister filters a hang on Protein Skimmer. also running a 36 watt UV sterilizer and and of course 3 power heads for water movement. My question is what are my chances for success, with this current set up thanks for fed back

A sump with a big skimmer would be better, but you could do it with what you have. I would get the best hang on skimmer I could find though. Most predatory fish produce a lot of waste. I would also clean those canister filters very often, also because predatory fish produce a lot of waste.

It can be successful, but will not hold as much livestock as a tank with a sump could hold. Stock slowly and carefully. Alternate weeks in which you clean the filters, so as not to upset the biological filtration too much.
