I picked up 2 more corals today. My normal routine is to float closed bag, pull corals out put into container for dip. Dip with Bayer for 15 mins and double rinse. I did that today, and when I drained the dip, I looked at the bottom of the dosh, this is I found. Are they AEFWs?

I'm gonna say 90% sure those are aefw. I've had them so I'm pretty keen on finding the little ******s.

The top left looks like a nudibranch of some sort.

I redipped the corals and left them in the dip for about 45 mins. I seen a few more but they look more like pods. I cut them off the plugs and chucked the plugs. Will the dip (Bayer) take care of them?

The two in the middle of the cup look like aefw, centers have a lighter shape in them and the outside edges are clear with spots where they blend into the corals flesh. We need to see a picture of the coral though there could be no real damage to the coral and the flat worms just got on to the coral before it was bagged.

Cutting everything but the growing flesh is a start, but if you can't I'd an aefw, your never going to find it's eggs... they can hide right along the growth rim of the acro so you can barely see them. Sneaky buggers is what they are. If you don't have another tank to isolate them in and keep an eye on them for any signs of aefw then eventually one day you will get them if your always buying coral.

I have got them from the most respectable online vendors, ones that people would swear by, and say they have perfect qt practices. And got them from the most reputable big hobbiest sellers on this site. Sooo, it's going to happen. Treat everything like it's infected.

I will post pics today of the coral.

Here is a picture from yesterday of the coral I think is infected. I think I left in the bayer dip too long, this guy was was a deposit olive color when I got him. His polyps are still popping out. He is an ORA Tri-Color Valida. Here is a pic of the pieces after the first dip. Here is a picture of the trip color (pictured on the left) after the second dip. Are those dark spots bite marks and are those eggs on the top left branch?

I see no eggs but you should really look it up on Google so that you know what they look like. I have had them 3 times. Learn to shoot them. I don't even keep frags that have any sign of aefw I throw them in the trash now.
